I loved the epilogue and I wanted more of that! Why didn't I get it? I liked how close they became and how their little family was doing. We get only the epilogue to see them as a happy family! I could have really used his pov to have a clear picture of him.Īnd the worst thing was that this thing between them "I want you but too many responsibilities on the way, I'm not ready kind of thing" kept going until the end of the book!

And Brantley were just missing from this book. Kali was nice heroine but NOT for this book! If that makes any sense.? She was selfish and didn't want the responsibility of 2 kids even though she had a great time with them during her work. It was kind of like they were doing their "jobs" and sometimes they just happen to meet and flirt a little bit or trying to separate the twins' fight. I couldn't connect with Brantley and I was missing his thoughts. The best part of the book were the twins, who were so adorable and cute and funny and got on fights all day long.īrantley and Kali were ok, I guess.

She was pretty immature too.īrantley was: "I'm a single dad with twins, taking care of them, he was alone in the new town, and worked a lot." We don't have his pov so it's hard to connect with him. Kali was:"I build and fix things, I don't mess with my clients, no matter how hot they are, and I don't want kids. This book was NOT what I was hoping for.īut the book was just a meh for me.I loved the twins though which kept me going. MISS FIX-IT is a brand-new, standalone romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author, Emma Hart, who brought you BEING BROOKE and CATCHING CARLY.more I shouldn’t be falling in love with tiny toes and dimpled cheeks.Īnd I most definitely should not be kissing my client. I shouldn’t be helping him out with the twins. In theory, I’m spending eight hours a day with a guarded, sexy as hell guy, and I’m staying for dinner more often than I’m eating it alone, on my couch, with Friends re-runs. His son is confused why ‘the pretty lady has a drill,’ and his daughter has a new obsession-me. I’ve proven over and over that I’m ready for anything the judgmental asses throw at me.Įxcept the hot, single dad of twins who just moved to town.īrantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids’ new rooms. The questions, the stares-the assumption I’m the proud owner of a cock and balls.

I learned the hard way that being a handywoman isn’t easy.
